Underrated Masterpiece

I like some of the themes of the picture: brilliance is found everywhere in every background and people. Both old and younger people can learn a few things from each other. We learn from our mistakes.
A brilliant young man has to learn a few things in life that the older more experienced man likely had to learn when he was the young man's age.
I think it was more credible and better acted than Good Will Hunting.
The film reminded me of the real life young brilliant African American writer of Creed contacting the older Stallone and working with him and the black director's skills resulting in Stallone's winning a Golden Globe.
