Mark's films would be a resounding success in this day and age...

...when anti-mainstream is mainstream and anything is possible with crowd sourcing. I think his films came out a time when zombie/horror movies weren't that popular and people were going to see Jurassic Park and Titanic instead. These days people are obsessed with zombies and what-not and people seem to love the "so bad it's good" type of films. he was just about 20 years too far ahead of his time to be successful.
