How do people feel about the orphaned RS shows being merged with HB

I first was a little confused during one of special features where they talk about the studio and they have a montage of shows and Thundarr pops up for a moment.

Now in the future we've already seen releases of like Thundarr and Dragon's Lair being branded into the HB Classic Collection.

I guess they are just finally admitting the truth, RSP was pretty much a sister studio to HB and shared quite a bit of talent. Considering RSP made a lot more for hire shows then HB did, there seriously wasn't all that much left of a RS library, so those guys seems to have found a branded home with the HB guys.

I think it's a pretty cool move as really for anyone who isn't knowledgeable throwing a HB logo over a RS logo on some shows really wouldn't even drop a hint of anything wrong. Thundarr showed up in Harvey Birdman and once again fit in.

Plus in the unlikely but still possible video game after life, i'm not going to be against getting some of those wonderful cast-off extneded brand characters like those in Thundarr.

May Thundarr and his friends enjoy there time stay alongside their other heroic and silly compatriots.

I refuse to argue on IMDB until the general populous actually uses their brains

It was an independent studio; but, their non-licensed library was sold to Turner Broadcasting, who had also bought the Hanna-Barbera library. Turner was buying various libraries to feed cable channels and started the Cartoon Network the following year.

Fortunately, Ah keep mah feathers numbered for just such an emergency!
