Is this a heavy production live, If I take my Dad to see it and it's anything like Ibsen, Chekhov, O'Neill or Shakespeare, he'll probably murder me, so i thought I would check first
shareIt's not live; it's a made-for-TV movie. You might be confusing it with the musical "Man of La Mancha". And no, although it's based on Cervantes's novel and pretty faithful to the book, it doesn't have a "heavy" feel at all.
