Afterview Comment- Between bad and ok

After viewing this movie, I would like to point out that it is quite boring and it is very strange. This man (who has gone mad) embarks on this stupid journey of a knight's adventure with his wood chopping lad. Many parts of the movie was outrageously boring and the only humor I extracted from this movie was when the wood chopping guy fell a little too hard on the donkey. I also laughed because of the pathetic hallucinations, such as thinking a herd of sheep as an army. You can tell the wood chopping guy was quite embarrassed whenever Don talked. This movie should not have the genre of adventure, does it look like adventure to you??

But, every movie has its good and bad. The good thing is that the clothing or costumes that the actors wore fit very well to match the time, it impressed me. This movie is pretty special compared to all the other movies nowadays. It is a classic, unlike violent movies that are now enjoyed.

So in conclusion I would like to rate this movie a 4.3/10

Basically the man is so desperate for an adventure he creates one for himself!

This movie is based on a novel written 400 years ago, (which the OP apparently hasn't read or ever heard of) and it's quite faithful to it.

So if the OP wishes to complain about things that happen in the movie, such as the "pathetic hallucinations", he should take it out with SeƱor Cervantes, who unfortunately died in 1616.

Sorry there are no car crashes or exploding airplanes in it.

The book has been a literary classic for more than 300 years. The plot, in case the seemingly illiterate OP wishes to know, is about an old man who reads so many books of chivalry that he goes crazy and decides to become a knight-errant, even though there weren't any left by then. It was intended originally as a satire on the then-current fad of unrealistic books of chivalry, but thanks to Cervantes's genius, became much more than that. Don Quixote may be mad, but he is noble and altruistic, and the sad part of the story is that few understand this; they prefer to laugh at him. The book is considered one of the greatest achievements in literature.

BTW, original poster, "Don" in this case is not the man's first name. It is a title, much like "Sir" is in such names as Sir Lancelot.
