Highly underrated, original comedy

I can see why a movie like this wouldn't do well at box offices, but that is really unfair to the film. I think audiences at the time were looking for more ostentatious, wild comedies. The writing was absolutely brilliant. I honestly think they chose the wrong name for the movie. I remember when I first saw it on tv years ago. I thought the title sounded like it would be a really lame movie, but I kept the channel on and realized I found a gem.

Let me guess, what was the plan. World domination?
