No Way! (spoilers)

So, she finds out her husband tried to kill her, took her kids, and she let him get away? That is the stupidest thing I've ver seen. She clearly had proof (he even admitted it in the auditorium in front of all those people). They should have sent him away for attempted murder, kidnapping, and anything else they could figure out. And all those "so called" former friends and that cop should have been sent to prison for conspiracy. She lost some of the most formative years with her kids and they all knew her former husband was a violent man. If a man will beat his wife, he will easily turn it to his kids if given the chance. Rich people or powerful people think they can get away with anything. The one thing that really bothers me is people that do really bad things years ago and just expect everyone to "forgive" them now that they are older. You reap what you sow in life. That man got off too easy.
