Let's Spend The Night Together

First of all, this music concert film is very good. Mick Jagger sounds good, while the band is right on the money with their playing. They played something for everyone.

Now, the reason I wrote here in the first place. The third song of the concert was "Let's Spend The Night Together", which I didn't know the Stones did. Anyways, I immediately recognized the song from somewhere...by someone else. So after the concert film was over I went to the web to search for whoever it was that I may have been thinking of. I didn't want this to bother me all night. The problem is the only thing I could find was a version by David Bowie, I knew that wasn't it. Then I started to think of concerts I have been to. That is when it dawned on me. I recently saw Rock Star Supernova in Fargo, North Dakota. They came out right away and played this song, it was absolutely amazing. Their live version was much better than the Rolling Stones on this DVD.

You didn't realize the Stones did "Let's Spend the Night Together"?

I wonder if you would have liked Rock Star Supernova's version as much if you were hearing it on DVD instead of in concert, or if you had heard the Stones in person. Live music has a way of sounding better than recorded music.
