I just beat this game about a week ago and got the meryl ending anyway if you watch all the credits ocolot starts talking about a woman what do you want me to do with the woman? is he talking about meryl or naomi I cant understand this

i'm not sure but i think that the talk at the end is the same no matter which ending you get so he probally is reffering to meryl since she appears in 4 and well all know otacon is alive from 2...
Actually the Ocelot conversation does depend on what ending you get. In one of them he doesn't mention that he's talking to "The Third". But yeah he's referring to Meryl.

shareNaomi is being held hostage. And Ocelot is technically "dead" or just a mindless puppet. It's Liquid that has her. As far as we know, it's because he needs her to be able to fully control the PMC's.
shareWhen you think about it naomi does make the most sense. They currently know where she is for sure at the end of the game since shes still with the colonol at the end so they can actually keep an eye on her. She also is the designer of foxdie and made that "change to it" and is also a specialist in nano machines. It seems she'd be the more ideal person to want to keep an eye on as opposed to meryl.
shareI guess you're probably right. I beat MGS again 2 days ago and realized then that he was referring to Naomi. However, if Ocelot himself isn't coming back, it doesn't really matter who he was talking about.
