most intense moment

There are a lot of intense moments. I will mention some of the best:

- The death of Decoy Octopus (posing as the DARPA chief)

- Hearing the soldiers getting slaughtered by the Ninja behind the door, and then entering the hallway filled with blood soaked walls (one of the soldier's leg is still twitching), and then seeing the Ninja enter Hal's room.

- The moment Snake realizes the Ninja is actually Grey Fox.

- When Snake finishes off Sniper Wolf in the blizzard, and then uses the handkerchief he acquired to cover her face. (brutally intense, and just might be the winner)

- The battle with Vulcan Raven in the frozen warehouse. (makes my heart race everytime, and is really difficult without radar)

- Meryl's death

- All confrontations with Liquid



- The General has spoken.

Contacting Baker after Rex has been activated.

"God help us, Metal Gear is moving! Its all up to you Snake, you have to stop that thing!"

"But how?"

"You'll have to contact Dr Emmerch, the man who made it!"

That scene is so well acted...you are convinced by the tension and intensity in their performances...I always replay that conversation everytime I get to that point in the game.

Probably my all time favourite twist in a game.

You have been speaking and taking advice from 'Master Miller', your mentor, and then you find out Millers body has been found, dead for 3 days, and that his transmissions are coming from inside the base. He reveals himself as Liquid Snake. Solid Snake now realises he's has been played from the very start, and how Ocelot and Liquid make Snake think he's has to deactivate the Launch but he actually sets everything in motion.

Fox's death and the moments leading up to it.
