Ten Best Films of 2001...

Hi. 2001 is going back a while, but I think "Hardball" was one of the best films of that year, and to me, maybe the best. However, I've seen it a good amount of times, and the last time I saw "Hardball" maybe it didn't seem to have the same greatness I may have felt the first time I saw it. Some of my opinions may be disagreed with, and that's cool. But here are my ten best of 2001: (In alphabetical order)

A Beautiful Mind
Black Hawk Down
Hardball
In The Bedroom
Monster's Ball
Ocean's Eleven
Save The Last Dance
The Musketeer
Training Day
Waking Life

What's your list? God Bless.

Keanu Reeves is simply the WORST mainstream actor on the face of the earth...

Talk about ruining a movie on just sheer precense...

AWFUL

reply

I believe that is your opinion. Also, can he really be that bad based on the box office cash made within the first weekend of "The Matrix Reloaded", in which he plays a big part? God Bless.

reply

Yes he can. The success of "Reloaded" has nothing to do with Keanu's acting. I wouldn't say he's bad all the time, but he sure misses the mark a lot.

reply

In my opinion I think Keanu Reeves a good actor, not oscar-winning(well, never say never) or great, but I have seen some of his movies, and every one I have seen I liked. By the way I would replace some of those movies on your list...A Beautiful Mind was boring to me, but it was one of the best from that year, not the best, but maybe the 3rd or 4th best I think...

reply

Well, I use to hate Keeanu...But I have rethought things through and he is not all that bad. Far from great, but decent.

Good movie too, critics don't know crap

LOL this thread started in 2003. Can't believe its still here LOL.

reply

This thread is still going strong in 2015. I just watched it for the first time. I thought it wasn't to bad. Made me tear up towards the end.

reply

It's always nice to see some very old threads still in exsistence. Anyway, Hard Ball is solid but I don't think it would crack my top 10... or maybe it would since 2001 wasn't a spectacular year in film (some fairly awesome flicks were released that year though).

Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!
