One of the Most Underrated Keanu Reeves Movies...

I've seen this movie a couple of times and I think it's a great movie. It's just that it's wrongfully underrated and should be noticed more. Matter of fact, there are a handful of Keanu's films that are amazing but don't get the credit they deserve.

Hardball, The Replacements, The Gift, The Watcher, A Walk in The Clouds, Sweet November, Tune in Tomorrow and Street Kings are some of the most underrated Keanu movies I've ever seen. No matter what genre and day of the week, they're very enjoyable.

How about any of you guys? Any choices?

i agree with you! the stupid matrix movies is what he's basically know for, but these movies like hardball he should be praised for! :)

Indeed. Though, I have nothing against The Matrix Trilogy. It's just that he's done a lot more great movies that deserve praise, as you've said. This movie and the others have potential and showcase his acting talent that most people seem to ignore pathetically. He's a good actor to me.
So, what is your pick of Keanu movie you think should be given more praise?

honestly lol, i don't really watch a lot of his movies, but hardball is definitely my favorite! i probably should watch more of his movies though! :)

Lol! Yeah. You should watch more of his movies. I think you'll like some of them. I'm still seeing more of the movies of his that I haven't seen before and so far...GREAT!

I find that Keanu delivers a better performance when he's playing the bad guy...(The Gift and The Watcher) but I did really like him in The Replacements. I really like this movie, my only complaint is the part where he's losing it with Dickie: I'm out, I'm out, I'm out, I'm out! ...that was painfully corny. I like the part where he's talking to Diane Lane at the school

I hated when he went to school and had problems with his briefcase...or whatever it was. He was wearing flood pants and that character would have NEVER worn floodpants. One simple choice but it really bothered me.

Agreed....

He seams to have made big movies, which he is remembered for, then the others that seam to be forgotten...

All in all I think he's made far more great films that his turkeys....

Although it's not up there with his best, it is better than some of the other lesser-known Keanu movies. It's a nice little movie.
