I live in Escanaba

The movie was alright nothing to write about. Just wanted to clear some stuff up, I always have people asking if I am a yooper or from Escanaba why don't I have the accent. Well more than 90% of people here have just regular northern accents kinda similar to Wisconsin, Ohio or even Minnesota. We do kinda pick up some Canadian words like "eh" but we speak just like anybody else.I lived here my whole life and rarely heard anyone talk like they do in this movie. Deer season gives everyone a chance to head to deer camp for a tradition to get the big buck or tirty pointer lol. And yes there can be some strange people around at that time.
