I liked how low-budget it was, it started reminding me of Evil Dead at parts.
I've never seen a movie blend together elements of comedy and horror so well
I gave it a 9/10 just for being the most original film made in the past 12 years.
Push the envelope, watch it bend
I don't know if I agree with the Evil Dead reference, or the Horror reference for that matter, but I do love this movie very much. I get the parts that you say were Horror, but I don't know if I would say that they were really horror scenes. Deffinately had a creepy vibe (Jeff Daniels trance like state) but it never really transcended that threshold of Horror to me.
