Edgar Wright.

I've just finished watching this film after putting it off for a long time. I was blown away. I can understand the high IMDB score. One thing struck me though. It seems Edgar Wright has based his entire directorial style on Darren Aronofsky ie the quick cuts with sound effects. It's blatant plagiarism! Does anyone know if this technique is pioneered by Aronofsky? Or has he lifted this style also?
