Top 250
Vote. Macskafogo must be in the Top 250.
shareYes, vote! Vote a 10!
shareYes, I agree, vote 10 because this movie deserves it! And it will be good, to have it in top250!
shareI haven't seen it, and I probably will as this movie seems quite small. Explain to me why it is good and I will vote for it.
Does a movie need like 1000 votes to be in the top 250 or bottom 100?

Totally accepted. I am glad now, just bought the digitally remastered DVD-version here in Hungary and it costs no more than 864 HUF (some 4 $s or how).
I will like it foreva.
but does it have English subtitles?
sharei couldn't find english or russian subtitles for this movie. but i found english and russions versions speaking (try e*m*u*l*e). yet i found hungarian version. i think there's no subtitles for this film
good luck
Netflix has DVD available:
Subtitles: None
Language and Sound: English: Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo
Original Release Date: 1989
However, people say it's not as good in English.
I saw this long time ago with the russian dub - and its an amazing dub (like Russia used to make). But recently i saw it with English dub and its really bad!
To really enjoy this movie you need to either speak Hungarian or Russian. Although there might have been other dubs...
I watched an unofficial subtitled version and really enjoyed the movie, I particularly liked the way it plays with the conventions of cartoons like Tom and Jerry (and also the Looney Tunes, though the former is the more obvious reference point). I thought the animation was really good actually, lots of well observed bits of movement (not literally, I'm sure they didn't study mice and cats who walk on two legs, wear clothes and talk). Unfortunately the version I watched didn't translate The Four Gangsters' song. Has anyone here seen Feherlofia, which as I understand it was by the same animation studio?
