Death Proof Car Chase
Did anyone notice the music during the car chase scenes were used in Death Proof (2007)?
Had better chase scenes than Death Proof, too.

shareAfter watching the film I realized just how far removed it is from the action films we get today.
it had an original plot, some scummy villains, and a good guy not afraid to do what's necessary to get the job done. The action scenes were all really cool, too, and the fight choreography was much better than I had anticipated. It looked fast and hard hitting, not unlike classic HK3 classics from the 1980s.
Today we get a lot of milquetoast, green-screened, diversity-hired, SAG-AFTRA BS that is as stilted and boring to watch as leaves crumbling in the wind.
I very much so agree. I absolutely love this genre. Every time I watch a Poliziotteschi I am reminded of why I choose these films over current Hollywood action movies every time. These films have heart! Great stories with actors that are believable everyday people, whom many times do their own stunts is always fun. You have to love the scores in these film too.
