In the cut scenes, they show a man talking to Ed Burns character saying he set the fire. Its supposedly a homeless guy that Ed Burns character has known a long time. But the guy looks just like Emil.....I think is his name. They call him some other name though. Is it just me or do they look exactly the same

Nah I saw in spec features on dvd, the fire bug who looks like emil is actually a real life nutcase in new york city, he says he lights fires all the time. herzfeld decided to put him in the film but the scene was cut.
