comedy

Anyone else think this movie was kinda funny (mostly in a bad way)?

No I don't think this movie is funny. I think it shows a good picture of the media, and it's so well done, well acted, and I was very surprised when Robert De Niro's character Eddie Flemming died. When Robert De Niro is in a film, he's mostly on the screen almost all the time. At first I didn't really like it. But I watched it again a few days ago, and I loved it. I don't think it's funny, I think it's scary. I really do. But it does have a few funny scenes, like when Edward Burns handcuffs that guy in the park and just leaves him there. I think it's a brilliant movie.

I thought the funniest bit was the one before they kill DeNiro, the russians WERE funny, if not because of their acting because of the things they were saying, and that running around tied to a chair, just ridiculous :). The bit with the guy in the park just reminded me of police brutality (OK, people with "authority" :), not really funny I would say.

The score of the film made it seem like a comedy to me as well.
