Amazing til the last 10 mintes (spoilers)

Up the the end with the shootings outside the court, this had me htinking I was watching one of the most original crime thrillers in ages- nohting wen tthe way you'd expect, its almost as if the director set up scenes that looked really cliched just to go completely the other wayat the end of the scene..I was surprised by turn of events more than twice. Then, the lacklustre, cop-out ending really ruined it for me, this could be a rare 8-9/10 and blockbustrionics make this a 4 for me now...Really disappointed, such a near classic.

Could not agree more. The ending has been done many, many times in B movies. It's so hackneyed that it appears the writer got writer's fatigue and just gave up.

But here the themes in the ending help strengthen it.

I liked the ending. It would've been nice if Bruce Cutler had been shot (he's a real life SOB - he wasn't acting at all - he was being himself!) but I loved it when Jordy shot Emil. Oleg dying was sad but nice & dramatic. Besides, this movie had satire in it - it wasn't supposed to be super realistic. Anyway, who cares if it wasn't super realistic - we go to the movies to escape reality!
