Compared to the original french series on whom marsupilami is based, this was very enjoyable.
Maurice (The Ape) was adorable in a sloppy kind of way, and the recurring villain was menacing in a petty sort of way. Not to underestimated.
Think of a combination of Timon and Genie and you basically have your crazy er..mammal.

I don't even remember any recurring villain. It's been so long. And it didn't have a long run like other old series.

I barely remember this show as it was very short-lived and only aired for a short while but I watched it a few times. It was not one of my favorite cartoons but I will have to watch it again.
