There is very little doubt this "made for TV" movie is about Marci Glazer Crosby of Baltimore, Maryland, who died in 1995 in her mid-30's. She was diagnosed with cancer the third time shortly after giving birth to a daughter, having survived Hodgkin's Lypmphoma at 17 and a tissue cancer in her neck at 25. There is a possibility the second and third cancers were related to her lymphoma radiation treatments, but that's based on educated supposition and conjecture as there's no substantive proof. Her story was the subject of a sixteen-part story during January 1997 in the Baltimore Sun, published using all the real names under the title: "God's Other Plan" (note the slight -- likely deliberate -- title difference).
