Anyone read Hitman: My Real Life in the Cartoon World of Wrestling?

I have just recently read Hitman: My Real Life in the Cartoon World of Wrestling and I have to say it is a tremendous read. In my opinion its the best wrestling book I have ever read. It was truly an entertaining read from start to finish. What did you think of it if you read it?

There is only a split second between existing and being a mere memory.

I agree with you. My favorite book, actually. I hope he writes another one someday.

Yeah, I read this book in 2016. The greatest wrestling book I ever read. It was well-written, emotional, detailed, interesting

reply

I will check it out

Really insightful behind the scenes look at the Golden age of wrestling. 1997 was such a cool time for the business.

Was he bitter

reply

Bret Hart is always bitter. He always has something negative to say about someone. He even said nasty things about Owen's widow, Martha!

reply

Ya I agree . I know the family . Poor Brett . Brett screwed Brett

reply

They seem like a dysfunctional family. I can see why Martha wants nothing to do with them.

reply

Well she does and she doesn’t

reply

What do you mean? She's spoken out many times that she doesn't keep in touch with them and her kids haven't even spoken to Bret since they were children.

reply

More weary than bitter. Based on the events he describes, he has good reason.
