Exodus International never sued to stop this movie?

I watched this movie last night and I couldn't help but think of the case of Winchester, Virginia's Lisa Miller. Lisa Miller is the woman who is involved in a custody case against her former lesbian partner who had a baby girl. Later Miller would get involved with Exodus International and presto..Lisa Miller is now "straight" and has been slamming gays and anything close ever since. At one point she even slammed the idea of same-sex roommates, gay or straight saying the idea could turn one gay such as this radio interview I myself had heard on Winchester's AM 610 WTFX..."..there is NO way two guys can live together unless they give each other oral sex or take that hot soapy shower together in the morning..there ought to be a law against it"

Being from Winchester, over the years I have seen Lisa Miller on local Winchester TV & Radio and I had noticed that during many of those interviews such as with Winchester's WINC Radio and this taken from the Chris Strovel Panhandle Live Radio Program on 1340 AM WEPM..every other word was "SUE" or something similar such as the question that was asked as to why Lisa kept actives profiles on lesbian websites when at the same time she had claimed that she is now striaght "...I would love to answer that question Chris...but you will need to talk to my lawyer...". Hmmmmmmmmmm.

OK, I have to admit that I have known people who had gone through places such as Exodus Internation in order to "go straight" but I noticed all of them tend to bring up their lawyers if one is to dare still question their sexual preference. With that being said, this movie I would have to assume had got thie idea for making this movie based on Exodus International or similar groups like it. Just surprised Exodus or least one of their members never tried to sue to stop this movie.

I love this film...it's an absolute slam at every religious "ex-gay" program, and terribly funny at the same time. Everything is pink and blue! The "Simulated Sex" segment is simply hysterical...never thought of lawyers getting involved with "becoming straight," however...I guess if it didn't work (duh!!), some would turn to litigation...meanwhile, be who you are!!

Wow.

WOW.

I'm amazed you can watch films like this AT ALL.

I'm really sorry you had to endure that.

What grounds would she have to sue on? Plagiarism?

"There is no escape, John!"

Poor Winchester. I lived in NOVA for nine years in the mid 90s to early 2000s, but I never cared much for Winchester. Maybe this woman exuded a vibe that created an air of "stay awayness" for all of Winchester. LOL.

I just threw up a little in my mouth.
