Link to 'Last Broadcast?'

Has anyone else noticed that the creators of The Last Broadcast appear in this short subject? They are not credited under the same names though. Is it actually Stefan Avalos and Lance Weiler and if so, are those their real names? The characters' names in Last Broadcast are sly mutations of the actors 'actual' names and I am taking this all as proof of the cleverness and self-awareness of the movie-makers.
