I Like To Watch 'The Worst Witch'

I think the worst witch is pretty good. i used to watch it when i was in Japan and there was this chanelle called Mystery TV or something and it used to play twice a week! i always watched it. I really like the books as well i know it is sort of childish but itis really good.... the only book i am missing is Bad Spell For The Worst Witch... i have and have read the others.... too bad the libary at school dosent have it... Well anyways it think Worst Witch is cool... Dose anyone know if it is British or american? I hope it is British Cuz i am!!! COLOUR!!

There was a film version of it with Faruiza Blak playing Mildred and she had a slight American accent at that time (Although she is American, she lived in England for a while and her accent used to be quite soft). That film was cool - especially Diana Rigg and Tim Curry!

The tv series is joint-produced in Britain and Canada, but the books are British. Some location filming from season 2 was filmed in Canada (the storylines based on The Worst Witch All At Sea and I think the camping episode).

Like other people have said it's a join-production between Britain and Canada so it's not just Canadian. :P It was filmed with a British cast and some of it was filmed in Britain. It was mostly the outdoorsy type episode that were filmed in Canada, like the ones where they go camping and the ones based on 'The Worst Witch All At Sea'.

Ha,Ha,Ha same here I remember being like 8 and watching this and I used to go crazy over the flying broomsticks so when she was flying I would get a broom stick and like, I would get to tables and put am close together and then out the broom-stick ontop of them and it would stay there so then I would like watch the show sitting on a broom-stick. Sound corny but hey I was a little kid

Not in the UK, it occasionally shows for a few weeks on Nickelodeon, but there are loads of episodes on YouTube, including the Christmas Special "Cinderellla in Boots" from an Australian girl called Laura who is amazing. In Austrailia (unfortunately for us Brits) they have released EVERY single episode on Region 4 DVD, with Weirdsister College and The New Worst Witch. If you have a multi-region DVD or your computer plays any region, I highly recoomend you buy it. I am considering buying it, because in GBP it is about £25, including P&P
