I watched the movie a few years ago and loved it. I just recently watched it again and I for some reason I thought a scene was missing. I thought the characters went to Southerton(sp) (Mr. Rushmore's estate) and walked around and talked about the gardens. They then came to a locked gate and couldn't get through since Rushmore didn't have the key. I know this happens in the book, but I was sure that it also happened in the movie. Does anyone know what I'm talking about or am I thinking of another movie?

The scene which takes place by the locked gate is portrayed in the BBC MP. Perhaps your memory combined the two versions?

You're not alone. There are other posts on the various IMDb boards for Austen film adaptations in which other posters have confused and combined in ther minds scenes from more than one film version of a particular novel.
