Couldn't really even enjoy the movie I disliked her so much. But it was HILARIOUS she screwed up the only real job her terrorist group gave her, and then they took off on her after they sent her off to buy newspapers. I guess that part was really satisfying, and also the fact she was already dead when the movie started. Ha ha.
Well, she did ruin or seriously mess up the lives of her mother, her sister, her lover, the man she killed, his wife, his children, plus who knows how many other people in his life--parents, sibs, traumatized co-workers, etc.
Agreed. The whole myopic twisted view of what caused her father's death as well as the hippie dippy peace love and terrorism is heroic bit, never ceases to grate on me. I will confess her suicide in atonement did make her less offensive but Phoebe's angst about Faith not caring for them also weighs into her negatives. On balance though, her guilt was just too much. Better than if she just blew it off and went back to partying.
