I doubt the scifi channel will air this show ever again. The first time I saw SAJV was during the last marathons they ever showed on the scifi channel. At the time I had a feeling scifi was about to retire the show (as they do with every canceled show after they've played repeats a number of times) so I recorded it.
The first marathon I recorded was of the last 7 episodes of the series. Luckily they showed 2 more marathons of the beginning and middle of the series that I recorded as well.
This happened almost 5 years ago when I was a 10 grader in high school. I'm a soon to be college graduate now. A lot of time has passed since then.
Anyway, I know that a DVD release is coming. It will probably come years from now when most of us have moved on.
For instance, they just released season 1 DVDs of Lexx in the USA after I had given up hope that it would ever come. We just have to be patient, I guess.
In the meantime, I have the show on VHS and I'm working on copying it to DVD. But of course, I long for an HD-DVD release (this was the first show filmed in HD afterall?) with special features, interviews, commentaries, etc.
The series is running on SPACE Channel, starting March 28/09. They are running it at 4:00 am. PST. I am watching Episode 1 right now.
