the very end did...well..I have only seen the ending ..but it made me cry :-(

three times. I cried when Joan's friend, Emile, died, Joan's brother, Pierre, died in her arms, and when Joan herself died.

yes at the end of the movie when all the deaths added up with the finale of her being burnt at the stake and when Jean rides back to her home with the flag

Oh yes it did... But in a way, the end is joyful...

I almost did when I saw Jean cry. But I was in school, and it would of been awkward, so I kept on thinking how hot Jean was.

it really impacted me. i am much more religious mainly because of this movie. i felt differently/more serious about my faith after it.

No, but when she had been pierced by the arrow, then wanted to get back on her horse, the respect and admiration... heck, LOVE that shown in the eyes of her men made me totally realize what a charismatic leader she must have been. I would have followed her anywhere myself.

I'm not ashamed to admit I cried during that scene. And like you Babel I would have followed her to hell itself.
