Leelee Sobieski is definitely better than Milla Hands down.
and Peter O'Toole... hell, you can't go wrong with him no matter what.
"The Messenger" had more of a "Braveheart" feel to it which basically robbed it of what it could have been.
So now, having seen both... this one is definitely better.

I haven't seen "The Messenger" (but seeing it's in full on YouTube I will be watching it) but I can tell you I fell in love with Joan (Leelee) during the Battle of Orleans, and I would have followed her into hell itself, as you can see everyone around her felt the same. Brilliant scene and acting.
I only have one person on ignore, but I've had to ignore him 625 different times.
I disagree, Mila and the Messenger is so much better.
