So whats with Nick Stahl and the bottle on his finger against his guitar (when playing riffs with the invisible someone out there)? What does that do? I'm a guitar player, and have never heard of that.

its like a slide. lets make your electric sound a little like a steel guitar

Slide guitar man. Don't tell me you've never seen a glass slide? There are even some that have obviously been made by cutting them from an actual bottle. (google: glass slide guitar)

"Bottleneck Slide"? Never heard that term?

The best ones were the original "Coricidin" bottles; back when they were made out of glass.
