has this film been remade?

cuz i like, totally recognised the whole 'sun-love-mix-up' part....
and Juli's character was also pretty familiar to me...
but i didn't see Im Juli till few minutes ago
i really loved this movie by the way, it's now one of my favorite german movies :-)
can't believe this hasn't been released outside germany yet! well, i couldn't find a non-german release anyway, that's why i ordered it over from germany itself. luckily it's my second motherlanguage. only too bad i can't share this film with my friends because of this :-( i know quite some people who would enjoy this one as well...
