German subtitles?

Does this movie come with both English AND German subtitles? If not, does anybody know where I can get this or another good movie with BOTH German language AND German subtitles?

Most German films sold in the US that have German subtitles will have German subtitles for the hearing impaired.

If you're trying to work on your German-language skills, I suggest NOT buying a movie with hearing impaired titles (unless you are, indeed, hearing impaired). Those subtitles are often abbreviated versions of what is actually being said and are shortened to leave room for additional on-screen text indicating music or other sound effects. Therefore, exactly what is being said and what is shown in text often don't match.

However, if you don't mind hearing impaired subtitles, I recommend versions of "Good-bye Lenin" and an absolutely lush and beautiful "Erbsen auf Halb Sechs" (translated: "Peas at 5:30" which can be bought on Amazon.de).

As someone else recommended, you have a better chance of finding these on ebay.de or amazon.de and not going through an American site.

Suggestion: Use an online calculator to translate Euros into dollars so you know exactly how much you're paying.
