Daniel Craig

I found this film while going through Daniel Craig's old work and I was pleasantly surprised. I would highly recommend it to all Daniel Craig, Toni Collette and Stephen Tompkinson fans. The story centers around a family who's mother has died over a year ago but even from her grave she still has a hold over every aspect of their lives. Toni Collett plays Daniel Craig's characters (Ronald's) ex girlfriend who comes back to the hotel upon hearing of the mothers death and tries to free Daniel Craig's characture and the rest of the hotel residents from the mothers hold on them. I would describe the film as a black comedy, the characters do not intend to be funny but you can't help laughing.

Please preview your remarks before posting. While I find your remarks informative, I find "who's" for "whose," "mothers" for "mother's" (twice), "characture" for "character," and a run-on sentence as you close your comment jarring. It's almost as bad as having to listen to college-educated girls (and guys) insert "like" five times into every like sentence that passes through their like uncommitted, stupid, bewildered,ineffective--and under-uneducated--lips.

Just saw it on Film4 and I liked it!
There's quite a Gothic, imposing look to the sets and the odd humour which suits it

George Lucas talking about: 'Hey, give it to me, I'll fix it. I'll make 20 more of them'
