"Hmmm... looks like a big plus sign. What could that possibly mean?"

My top ten:

1. Full Throttle (Just right in everything: cut-scenes, puzzles, story, jokes, easter-eggs, although could have been a little longer.)
2. Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (Very memorable.)
3. Day of the Tentacle (Full of fun.)
4. Alone in the Dark (Haunting, atmospheric and extremely well worked out. A milestone for it's genre.)
5. Tex Murphy: Under a Killing Moon (Very enjoyable and colourful game. Weird story development now and then.)
6. Bioforge: (Mysterious concept, great atmosphere, beautiful music and good story.)
7. Tex Murphy: The Pandora Directive (Less colourful, but more 'serious' and very long!)
8. Kingdom 'o Magic (Great spoof of the Lord of the Rings-trilogy. Very non-linear and a lot of beautifully rendered locations.)
9. The Dig (Very mysterious, haunting and philosophical. Too bad about the Hollywood-ending)
10. Sam and Max: Hit the Road (Great insane humor, little buggy though.)

Too bad Grim Fandango is just one place short to make it into my list. Though I really liked year 2 and while year 3 also was ok, there were a little too many errors in the game.

It's strange, but most adventures that aren't from LucasArts just don't feel 'right'. Oh, and I indeed didn't mention Monkey Island. Although popular among many adventure-gamers, somehow it's not my kind of humor.

Legend Of Zelda: The Ocerina of Time!!! (My favorite game of all time!)

Resident Evil 4 (survival horror? more like adventure horror!)

Myst (I love YOUUUUUU... FOOOOOOR sentimental... Reasons...)

Grand Theft Auto 3 (if Zelda counts, shouldn't this?)

So, it turns out I'm not a big adventure fan...

I'll publish my list as soon as I've replayed all my adventure games.
