Wish they made more games like this

Everything's a first person shooter these days, and it bores me to tears. I do not enjoy button mashing and the endless shooting of things. I love games with plots, and character development, and clever dialogue and puzzles to solve. And why is it that the adventure game has been declared dead? That's such rubbish. Maybe they don't have the rabid fandom that they once did, but surely an audience exists that would be receptive to more fun, clever games like this? Maybe an audience outside of the 15-30 year old male demographic that the gaming industry so blindly focuses on? There's so much cross-appeal here.

I agree. Great game. I recommend you try out Snatcher by Hideo Kojima, you will be surprised that he had quite a love for adventure gaming back in the 90's, to which he says even to this day that he'd 'like to make another', but alas, just like the great Tim Schafer, neither of them can, since we all know that 'adventue games do not sell', although the Ace Attorney series for the DS goes against that point. Oh well.
