Another DVD question...

As far as I'm aware there are a lot more episodes than are available on DVD currently and I was wondering if anyone on here is aware if there are any plans to finish the series. Thanks.

reply

I hope so, but there haven't been any announcements to my knowledge.

I don't think there ever will be any more Hanna-Barbara Godzilla dvds. And besides it's a waste of time just releasing dvds of a poor cartoon that was a huge failure back in the 1970's and early 80's.

reply

It's true, the Old Godzilla cartoon really was a huge failure back in those days.

Well, just because YOU don't like it, doesn't mean others don't. I was only six when it first aired, and I never forgot it. It got me interested in watching all of the classic movies. It's still a unique piece of Godzilla history and cartoon history. I bought the DVD's and enjoyed seeing it again.

Wow! mbrad3 agrees with his own post!

The third volume comes out on the 8th of August. More episodes! The show was bad, but the theme song was great.

I think most people hate the Godzooky element.

I always liked the idea of having a pager to call Godzilla...

reply

Are you guys retarted, this godzilla cartoon sucked. And it's clearly doesn't bother with the Godzilla History and Cartoon History. The fox Kids Godzilla cartoon was much better than this lame show.

reply

Oh. You mean the animated show based on the American Godzilla movie that paid such homage to the Toho originals?

reply

Yes krantzbucks. Yes

reply

I for one like this cartoon and i have the 3 dvd set from the first season.
As for the American Godzilla cartoon that was just BS big time

Bought Volume 1 at wal-mart yesterday. Only $4.99 so I went for it. Don't think I've heard of the show. I suspect it's pretty bad, but was curious to see it for myself.

Volume 1's were circulating in a Walmart in 2014....That Walmart's affiliate stocker had the sense we wish Toho had at the time. Geez....Or is Godzooky more appropriate a replacement here? XD
