This Cartoon is Blasphemous

This in no way even remotely resembles the Godzilla I know in appearance, personality or voice.

Like... Big G's never done that before? Lets see... his behavior has changed several times, he has had a ton of changes in his appearance, and even his voice has gone through alterations, as well as his powers and his fearsomeness. I don't see your point.

Let's not forget that in the Godzilla Power Hour.... Godzilla has laser eyes. And a nephew named Godzooky.

I actually watched this show because of Godzooky. My aunt was an animator and the time and she got a job at Hanna-Barbera drawing Godzooky. She didn't create the charater but did do most of Godzooky's animation. I suppose I had a different perspective at the time. Her daughter is following in her footsteps and animating "backyardigans".

I know this is an old thread and post, but I always find it cool to find people who worked on these shows (or people who knew/know them) on here.

Um... this series IS Godzilla Power Hour.

Watched the Volume 1 DVD yesterday, and I agree. This is about as anti-Godzilla as the 1998 live-action movie. I don't think that automatically makes it bad, I've certainly seen worse shows. Some of the ideas for other monsters is neat. Godzooky is simply a Scooby-Doo wannabe.
