sequel to COTC 6 my Script

I think there should be a true sequel to this film cause it leaves a lot of questions unanswered. This was my idea;

5 years have passed since Hannah made it out of Gatlin with her life. Rachel is dead, and Hannah is living in castle falls, arkansas with her teenage son Samuel. Samuel finds that he has the gift of visions and is baffled as to why, but Hannah will not tell him the truth, only that he is very special. Samuel investigates the mystery surrounding his birth, and what he finds is a terrifying conspiracy of deception and murder. Also, he learns that his birth will ensure the prophecy of Isaac Chroner (from parts 1 and 6) and that he is destined to be the next prophet of HE WHO WALKS BEHIND THE ROWS. Desperate to stop this deadly chain of events, Samuel attempts to deny his birthright but two sinister forces have risen (Malachai who has been in a coma for 20 years since the first film) and Gabriel (the true HWWBTR) to make sure things go as planned.

That's a pretty good plot. I like it a great deal but we know that Malachai died in COTC. His neck was snapped by Isaac so I'm not sure how he would be brought back. I guess anything is plausable in these movies. Cool idea. :D

Thanks very much. you're the first person whose ever liked one of my plots. i only figured we saw Isaac get brought back i was thinking Malachai could have his turn (cause we all though Isaac died in part 1). I was thinking of having Isaac surviving the stabbing Gabriel gave him, and being in the hospital recuperating cause there were quite a few kids left still after the end of part 6 (surely all of them didn't die) so they could have whisked him away to safety and hid him til he got well and then make his appearance in this script/film as a figure who continually reminds Samuel of his destiny while again serving as the right hand man of Gabriel/HWWBTR.

Incidentally, did you see what happened to Jake at the end of the film? i thought he got fried but if you think he might have lived, i was thinking of a part for him in the sequel. He would be like the terminator (protecting Samuel and watching over him.)

I have always thought that Isaac didn't die in COTC 6. The reason why I say that is because he was brought back from the dead by HWWBTR to kill Malachai and that would actually make him "undead" and in the rules of the horror movie once someone is already dead you can't kill them again. So I have never thought Isaac was killed in COTC 6.

As for Jake you never know. They try to take him with them but he won't go and we see his face right before the explosion so I guess anything is plausable really. It's the movies they can do anything they want.

You know i totally agree with that theory that Isaac is "undead" but i had my own theory as to the connection between the first and sixth installment. it is:

Isaac did die at the end of the first film and his body was completely destroyed by HWWBTR, but his soul was not it was IMO absorbed by the demon and thats why the form of Isaac shows up at the end to kill Malachai (because Isaac was not the one who lost favor with Him it was in fact Malachai who had (demonstrated when HWWBTR tells Malachai that "HE wants you too.")) So the Isaac we seen kill Malachai is not the true Isaac but in fact HHWBTR taking Isaac's form and then presumably Isaac goes back to being dead (or IMO his soul returns to the corn with HHWBTR).

Afterword, HHWBTR decided to give his devoted prophet a second chance and so rejoined his spirit with his body (which the children managed to piece back together after 19 long years I.e Cora, Doc Michaels (maybe), Matt, Jesse etc.) and put him into a coma ( since Isaac had been dead/destroyed at the end of part 1 his brain cells would have been like useless almost and so it took 19 years for HHWBTR to rejuvenate his brain cells and since Isaac's body had to practically be sewed back together from scratch.

Then, at the end of COTC 6 Isaac again fails his duties and becomes power hungry once more. He even goes so far as to compare himself to the corn god:

Hannah: Did you kill my father?

Isaac: He sacrificed his life to a power greater than himself.

Hannah: HE WHO WALKS BEHIND THE ROWS?

Isaac: No....ME.

Plus Isaac couldn't really DIE at the end of part 6 unless Hannah did something to him (this would have contradicted what Jake said at the start "Only YOU can stop Isaac.") So Gabriel/HHWBTR merely put Isaac into another state of "suspended animation" until one day when He feels he may need him again.

im sorry if this is confusing but it's just my opinion based on the films and so i hope it makes some sense.

i like the sound of that idea missmay722. but its a shame you put rachel as dead because shes my favourite charactor. i wish she would live.

Well not really i had an idea where Rachel was still alive and in a wheelchair due to an accident prior to the events of the story. However, she gets killed by Gabriel about about 20 minutes in the film.

Another idea i had was Rachel and Hannah fake their deaths and live on the outskirts of Hemmingford with Hannah's son and their are once again threatened with HWWBTR (Gabriel) In hindsight i agree i like Rachel too so i will incorporate this into my script. thanks for the input by the way and thank you for liking my idea.

Also, the script will incorporate some back story on Gabriel and where he comes from (being the first born son of the Children) and Isaac will have survived the events of 6 alive but wounded and in hiding by the remaining children alive at the end of part 6. Isaac will also be kinda like Gabriel from the third Prophecy film where he is kinda of a anti hero (he keeps telling Samuel who he is as well as defending him from Gabriel and the resurrected Malachai.)

Also we will see the return of Burt and Vicky from the first film as well.

If it's only been five years how is Samuel a teenager? Good idea though
