Yes, I got suckered into it too...I watch the first five minutes of a daytime movie and I always end up watching the rest!!! But this one was actually very good, so it was worth my two hours!
I bawled my eyes out, it was so sweet, and yeah, Matthew Fox was incredible. I knew he could act, but damn he was good!!

this movie is basewd in my aunt's ex husbands dad

True ... that would be Jeff, my brother. Bob Shushan (played by Donald Sutherland) was for 40 years the executive director of the Exceptional Childrens' Foundation in Los Angeles, California. The movie was based loosely on an article that appeared in the Los Angeles Times Sunday Magazine about 1990 that documented his work with James Jones. The movie first appeared as a CBS TV Sunday Night Movie. "Brian Shushan" is a fictionalized amalgamation of Bob Shushan's three real adult kids. Great movie based on a true story.

If you haven't found it in your local WalMart or Target (or the equivalent), send us an eMail and we'll get you a copy. Of the 50+ movies I've been lucky enough to produce in my career, this is by far my most favorite and most personal. Long before LOST and WEST WING we knew how amazing Matthew Fox and Brad Whitford could be. I'm glad you saw it and enjoyed it. Stan Brooks / Once Upon A Time Films ([email protected])

I have just bought this movie for £1 in WH Smith's, mainly because Matthew is in it.

I will let you know what I think after I have watched it.
