isn't that an amazing film?

is there an, one else, who thinks this film is a very touching, impressive one, which is also unforgettable, or am i the only one?

reply

no, you´re not
it´s one of my favourites movies; one of the best dealing with the issue friendship, growin-up and the insecurity.
The actors are all great, especially Frank Giering as Floyd.
The soundtrack is also phenomenal.
It should attract more worldwide attention

One of my favorite movies too!
Love the soundtrack as well.

This movie won the award for best motion picture of Brasilia´s Movie Festival here in Brazil.

I heard the director came to the screenings and was really happy!

Maybe the best movie from Germany in the last ten years...

I completetly agree...
"Weißt Du was? Es müsste immer Musik da sein. Und immer dann, wenn es am schönsten ist... dann müsste die Platte einen Sprung haben... und sie spielt immer wieder die gleiche Stelle..."
And then in the end there is a single jump in the record (Sophia's "Reprise") when Floyd leaves his friends at the Elbe beach.
Can you not love this? *Sniff*

You're not.

Maybe you fans of the film can join me and help get it more attention. I've been trying to get Netflix to carry it - you can ask them to add it to the collection, and you don't even need to be a member to do so. Just click this link http://www.netflix.com/Suggest?type=0&lnkctr=cu_tr, add your email (real or made up), and then put something nice about this movie and ask them to add it.

Thanks to everyone in advance!!!

Just filled out that form, I hope it helps!
