I'd like to think my comment was a factor in Jackanory's resurrection. But the new version is very different. Just look at all that CGI. Naturally the programme could not have presented in this way back in the 1970s. I think it has to move with the times. What does anyone else who's seen the resurrected Jackanory think?

I think the new way of telling stories had to be done in order to attract a new generation.
