Does anyone know whatever became of the Daise Family, or Shaina Freeman(the 1st Shaina)?? I just remember she was an absolute DOLL. I'm curious to know what they're all up to now!

The Daise family lives in Beaufort, SC. Their real life son, Simeon Daise (Remember? He was the baby.) is now in the eigth grade. Like his parents, he's a very talented performer. Their real life daughter Sarah (wasn't on the show) is a classmate of mine at Beaufort High School and is on the band. For a few years, Mr. Daise taught an English class at BHS.

Thanks for posting a link to that photo. I wasn't sure if it would be rude, but I took the chance and contacted Ron via Myspace and told him how much I loved the show and how grateful I was to him and his family for the time and energy they put into making such a great show for kids, and he responded quickly and thanked me for my comments and said my email filled his day with "light and love and joy!" Seriously made my day. :D

I know Natalie very well, she's also a really talented singer and painter. She's now living with Ron in Myrtle Beach. She will be performing her one-woman show, Becoming Harriet Tubman, at Piccolo Spoleto in Charleston this summer.
