Looking for an old tv show, need help

So i was feeling nostalgic and looked up old cartoons i use to watch as a kid, but theres one i cant find and dont remember the name. All i remember its about a man who apparently sees his father disappear in flash of light or something, and kinda spends his life searching for him, eventually leading him to a secret group that i think either studied paranormal activity or aliens. anyway all i can remember is one of the main characters being a girl with hair and psychic powers.
