More cheating...

...a white family was asked what a Tarzan stripper would do during his performance. The white woman said dance in a loincloth and got a buzzer. The black family got the points and when they revealed the answers, one of the answers came up wearing a loincloth. Are you friggin' kidding me? I don't care who wins as long as the game is played fairly. I have seen so many instances where the judges and Harvey cheat in favor of the black family. This is really not fair.

I've seen this. Also, somebody posted here a while back how black families get easy Fast Money questions while white families get difficult ones and I thought that was BS, but i've been paying attention and it's not all the time, but damn, it's most of the time, no doubt about it. But I daresay it really isn't a racist issue, but a viral one. White folks tend to be kind of boring while black folks tend to be very entertaining and straight up, they make better tv when they win. And ratings aka money rules everything.

I understand what you are saying, but the fact is that there was a big scandal in the 50's on the 64 Thousand Dollar Question where the answers were given to a contestant. The scandal rocked the game show world and the government had to step in. If there is anything like that going on, they could be in serious trouble due to the fact that it is illegal as Hell to favor another player by rigging the game. Also, I have seen some great white families on there who are extremely entertaining. Anyhow, if they get found out not only will people go to jail, but also other families could sue over it.

Great movie

Yes it was. Quiz Show.

Another thing I have notice recently is white contestants say an answer after the buzzer and it isn't taken, while black contestants do the same thing and their answer is accepted. This is unfair. As I said before, I don't care who wins as long as there isn't cheating involved. It is so blatant too.

It is what it is.

reply

Not sure what that means, but OK.

It means having a gas

reply

Hmmm, having fun? That is what having a gas means to me. Ha Ha.

One of the answers on the board was probably "dance" and another was "wear a loincloth" so they don't give credit to people who try to "double guess." I remember being pissed when a guy got a buzzer for "steak and potatoes" when steak was up on the board. Someone explained it to me. It is all about not stuffing your guess with multiple possible answers. The contestants are instructed about this before hand. Otherwise everyone would give long, multi-tiered answers in hopes that part of it was up there.

Another thing is that the judges have to make a judgment call on some answers. No pun intended. But sometimes I disagree with their judgements!

There was a celebrity Family Feud episode, the Kardashian Family vs. the West Family (how those no talent twits got their own TV show is a mystery to me, but that's another subject).

Anyway, a question was "Why is Steve Harvey a good kisser?" One of the West family said, "his sexy bald head". She got credit because the answer was "he's sexy." Those are two DIFFERENT answers. Her answer could've been "his sexy walk or voice or appearance." So she got credit for the adjective 'sexy'.

Answer question was "If you were at a party where the guests were naked, who wouldn't you want to see there?"

One of the dopey Kardassians said, "Donald Trump". She got credit because the answer was "a celebrity". Again, NOT the same answer. I would agree if she said a politician or a president or "my favorite actor", etc. But sometimes the contestant gives a very specific name and the answer is generic. It could be almost anyone! It's almost like a free guess. As long as a contestant names someone who fits the general category, they get credit.

Yeah it is pretty stupid. It got so bad that I quit watching. Not like I was a ritual watcher but I'd usually linger on the show when I saw it on.

Remember when there were 5 seconds fewer for both contestants in the Fast Money segment?
