At least in this current version because we all know Dawson is the King of Feud.
He is funny, entertaining, and always let's the contestant have it when they give a bad answer. So far he has more funny "Feud Moments" than any of the last 3 host combined. And this show has never been this entertaining before, not even with O'Hurley. Steve is probably the most entertaining and funny host in all game shows right now.

I certainly do, glad to see Steve Harvey getting some love here. I do think that John O'Hurley was pretty funny in his first two season though. But yeah, I almost die laughing during the feud now. I hope Steve Harvey sticks with this for a while but he'll probably be there for just 3 or 4 season like each of the previous hosts.

shareI agree. Steve is funny but sometimes he actually gets a little to inappropriate. Saw this one episode with a women who had breast implants, if I had had young children I would have to change the channel with the interactions and comments that were being thrown around.

Steve Harvey is the best host, IMO, he almost turns the whole show his own stand up routine and he sometimes goes on really hilarious tangents, which is extremely entertaining...
Plus his reactions are really funny especially when he thinks someone gives him a bad or weird answer then it reveals to be correct...LOL

Better than Karn or O'Hurley. Karn just had no zip with his humor or reactions, and O'Hurley mined that suave playboy bit too much. Harvey does his dead-pan to salacious answers and reacts to both good and bad answers how many of us would.
But keep your hands off their damn ties!!!
I liked Karns the best, any are better than Dawson though. Id of slapped him if I was a woman and he tried to kiss me haha
After watching more lately Steve needs to clean up his act a bit. Some shows he's perfect and then some shows he goes on a 2 minute rant of nastiness making it very awkward for the contest. Being in comedy so long he should know when to move on with a joke.

Steve Harvey has done a really good job. But he's not the best. I still prefer Combs.

Louie Anderson was just terrible...I will never understand why they made him the first host of the new series.
Richard Karn and John O'Hurley both got old really fast. It's as if they kept on repeating the same schtick episode after episode (Richard would always say, "I'm doubling the points!" when...no...he wasn't. That's just the way the game was played. And O'Hurley with his annoying habit of looking behind him when they would play the sound if somebody repeated an answer in the bonus round.)
All the previous hosts phoned in their performances. Steve Harvey actually seems to not only enjoy his job but makes the show more enjoyable.
I didn't like Louie Anderson as a host, but the one I really didn't like was Richard Karn. he had to make a "joke" to every comment that was made by a contestant and he just never shut up. We stopped watching it when he hosted.
shareOf the five modern "hosts" (including Al Roker) Steve Harvey is definitely the best. Louie Anderson was real good, I wish he'd hosted longer. And Karn was okay, but O'Hurely bored me. My all-time favorite is Ray Combs, I watched him every morning during Summer vacation.
