I can't believe no one has made a parody of Melrose Place using characters from the Mushroom Kingdom. Must I do everything myself?

It was a prime-time soap opera shown back in the 1990's. It was from 90210 creator Aaron Spelling and was considered one of the sleaziest shows on network television at the time. I'll have to make the parody myself.
