The Trocadero Ballroom was quite real

Hi -

In the current summary of this film, the Trocadero is referred to as a "fictional" nightclub.

Actually, The Trocadero Ballroom on the Sunset Strip area of Los Angeles was quite famous during the 1930's. (For you real movie buffs, as I recall in the early scene on the golf course in "Sunset Boulevard" from 1950, the agent character makes a joke to the William Holden character to the effect about not getting stuck in that Trocadero, Mocambo rut.)

Was the interior filmed inside the real Trocadero nightclub or was this a set?
