Brilliant


I'm a big Laurence Fishburne fan, and I don't consider The Matrix to be among his best work.

He's done a lot of great work, but this one is my favorite. Partly because I love the genre (the Play, and this is a beautiful play)... and Partly because of how well he nailed the character, 20/20 Mike.

This is the kind of work that a lot of people aren't going to like because they can't relate to it. It's set in a world that is so foreign to them that it might as well be Mars. That's just the way it is... Throughout the ages great art has been misunderstood by the masses, and this film follows suit.
